The principle of the operation of spectrophotometer spectroscopy

Among the activities of our center ... for the cultural season in its 20th century (20). Zahraa Zahrao Farhan Lecture entitled ((principle of the work of the Spectrophotometer spectroscopy)) on Monday, 28/5/2018 on the blue hall where the lecture summarized the following:

The principle of the operation of spectrophotometer spectroscopy

The spectrometer is used in many chemical and biochemical laboratories to measure the concentration of various factors such as phosphates, nitrates, nitrite, sulphates, silicates, heavy metals, pigments, sugar etc. This device has a wide range of uses Analytical analysis. The optical spectrometer is a quantitative method to measure the absorbance or reflectivity of the sample using wavelengths. The basic principle of this method is that "each compound absorbs or reflects light through a specific range of wavelengths" where the device measures the amount of photons absorbed by the sample when the light passes through, and thus get the concentration of material to be examined.
