University of Technology logo was relied on in designing the logo of Environment Research Center by preserving it as the main incubator for the engineering departments and research centers at the university. The introduction of environment-related elements represented by the sun (in the form of a search engine wheel) to match the university logo, as well as the overlap of the green leaf (the clean healthy environment symbol) with the sun as the basis for achieving a sustainable environment. These elements were based on an abstraction chosen book (the symbol of scientific research) to represent the base of the logo.
