The Environmental Information Unit of Importance and Elements of Success
Among the activities of the cultural season of our center Dr. Azhar Mahmoud Al-Halim, a panel discussion entitled "The Environmental Information Unit of Importance and Elements of Success" was held on Wednesday 20/12/2017 at the Blue Hall of the Center. The lecture summarized the introduction of the Environmental Information Unit at the Environmental Research Center. Administrative entity and staff, authorization, financial and administrative support, the existence of a specialized computer program to store and tabulate these data, the manner of announcing the functions, importance and activities of the Environmental Information Unit.
As for its importance:
Providing data, statistics, surveys and studies, research, references, maps, atlases for researchers in all fields of environmental sciences.
Collecting and compiling data on the environment and updating it and presenting it to the scholars and decision-makers in the required time.
Processing data that needs to be processed and converted from one program to another program for easy trading.
